Our Sink Insert Chopping Boards are made from Solid Oak Harwood Timber. They have a lip on the underside that secures them into a sink insert. With cutout grab handles on each side to make it easy to place in and remove from the sink. Perfect for that extra needed bench space in the Kitchen, Laundry and Caravan. Boards are all hand made and made to order.
Our Beautiful boards are oiled with Hard Wax Oil to help repel water and keep the timber looking fresh and protected.
Current designs are;
Oval – Measurements taken across sink from top to bottom. 38.5cm (Outside Measurement) with a 36.5cm (inside sink measurement). From Left to Right Across, measuring from corner to corner of handle cutouts 33.3cm (Outside Measurement) with a 31.8cm (Inside Sink Measurement) (Fits my 2010 Jayco Expanda Caravan Oval sink).
Round 37.5cm (Outside Measurement) with a 35.5cm (Inside Sink Measurement).
Round 37.5cm (Outside Measurement) with a 35cm (Inside Sink Measurement).
Round 38.5cm (Outside Measurement) with a 35.5cm (Inside Sink Measurement).
Round 39cm (Outside Measurement) with a 35.5cm (Inside Sink Measurement) (Suits Jayco Caravan sink that is the same sizing as the plastic Jayco Chop and Serve Board)
Round 42cm (Outside Measurement) with a 37.5cm (Inside Sink Measurement).
I usually allow about 0.5cm less on the overall inside measurement when cutting to allow for timber expansion due to weather conditions. We recommend you measure your actual sink to make sure sizing is correct.

As these are handmade and made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for this product to be ready for pickup or postage. Please add postage time. We use Australia Post and generally they take 3 business days, however this is only a guideline.
***As our boards are made from timber they can have some movement. Flipping the board overnight can help to pull the timber movement back. To help to prevent extreme movement, please do not submerse board in water. Wipe clean with a soapy damp cloth using no harsh chemicals, dry standing upright on handle edge and oil your board when needed. (Approx every 3-6 months depending on use. Don’t let your timber board dry out as this can cause the timber to crack)
